The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Okay.
I've realized something.
So, practically the best universities in this country are free, right?
And I'm a really bright girl, right?
So. why the fuck am I not doing another two degrees I'll probably finish when I'm thirty?
I'm currently studying in UTN (national technological university). I could easily pass the entrance exam for IUNA (national institute of arts) and start a degree in arts for the lulz. It's not like I'll have to study, it's not like I have 3-4 years worth of math-related subjects destroying my brain.

And. And when I finish I'll go for Computer Science in UBA (buenos aires university) but not really, because I'll be probably fed up with that shit and study something cool, like mathematics or history. I really, really want to get a degree in history.

and courses. i want to start taking some free courses BUT FUCK THEY BEGAN IN AUGUST. there's this italian course in my university, and even if I don't really care about italian I want to learn another language. or java.

Este mes salieron $238.000, lo que equivale a $2.844,89 argentinos. Ac{a es harto; creo que en mi universidad el Estado aporta con como un 7% a la U. Una mierda.

Así me salió en el conversor de divisas; la carrera en total es de $ 2.000.000, y medicina es peor (creo que se acerca a los 3.000.000). La única pública 100% es la U. de Chile, y por lo que sé, se está yendo a la mierda.
La mayoría le echa la culpa a Pinochet por haber cuasi-privatizado la educación, pero yo también le echo la culpa a la Concertación por no haber movido un dedo en 20 años para mas encima regalarle el puesto de presidente a un wannabe rothschild/obama que ha estado años lucrando con una empresa estatal comprada a precio de huevo en los 80's, al igual que ahora el Estado ha estado externalizando servicios hasta con los hospitales.
Por cierto ¿sabías que el hermano de nuestro presidente se escapó a Argentina para evitar una demanda por haber atropellado a una mujer? ese es un negro de mierda.

Ah, la privatización. A nosotros nos lo hicieron en los noventa, con el esposo de la Boloco, Menem (toco madera). El problema con las públicas acá, aunque le pasa nada más a la U. de Buenos Aires en realidad, es que está todo politizado. Entonces pasás por la facultad de derecho, y te llenan de papelitos del PJ/radicalismo/movimiento obrero, toman las facultades, hacen quilombo. Los militares no la privatizaron en su momento, pero la tomaban cada dos por tres porque estaba llena de guerrilleros, sobre todo la de derecho y la de ciencias económicas.
Qué hijo de puta lo del tipo ese, encima como no es por homicidio no sé si lo pueden deportar. Quisieron taparlo o algo?

En Chile se tapa todo con los medios; si deja de salir mas de un día en la tele, no pasó. Ahora el problema con los Mapuche no lo pueden tapar porque se les salió de control, pero lo estuvieron escondiendo de los medios por años. Igual taparon la ocupación militar en Isla de Pascua, o los arreglos entre los detectives y los cafiches de menores en Valparaíso (hubieron amenazas de muerte a uno de los testigos por parte de la misma policía).
También hubo otro escándalo por el mismo caso cuando se supo que tenía una alcoholemia adulterada en la clínica que en ese tiempo dirigía el actual ministro de salud. Nada pasó mas tarde.
En fin... Negro de mierda. Por cierto ¿Es cierto eso de que los argentinos lo adoraban cuande estaba en eso del programa de baile o es otra mentira de los medios?

A decir verdad, miro poco y nada de televisión, así que no te sabría decir. Es que en este momento o te tenés que bancar esa boludez de bailando por un sueño, o sentirte como un pelotudo mirando el ping-pong que se estan mandando canal 13/grupo clarín y la presidenta con información falsa o engañosa.
