I have a game for you

Journal Entry: Fri Dec 3, 2010, 11:46 AM

Go to the internet archive wayback machine page, look up your old sites, read what you wrote.

Holy shit, if I hadn't discovered 4chan, I would've turned into Snapesnogger.
These guys  saved my life.

Also I admit that for like, two months, I had a Gaia account.

Haha I did Gaia for a while.

There was a forum site that actually started me with the internet "life" (and also gave me the "_V" after "Spyder" due to someone having taken that already) a long time ago, it was like Gaia, and you had a character that you decked out in battle gear with points you got from posting and playing games on the site. There was a battle feature where you could fight other forum members in real time with your character. Sadly, I can't remember the name to save my life and it was close long ago.

Trickstutorials.com/forums opened my eyes to the worst parts of the internet (mostly things from /b/). I thank those guys to preparing me to the plethora of fake links I would come across during my internet career sending me to goatse, meatspin, and other things.

Oh my god, this this THIS. If I hadn't eventually stumbled onto 4chan, I'd have wound up like Jessi Slaughter, I kid you not.

It's also pretty nice to be desensitized to everything.

Desensitized is a pretty cool word .Well, some jews called me a sociopath because I didn't bawwww over more jews being killed in Palestine.

That's so true, it's sad. Nowadays, people automatically think I'm a terrible person because I don't even bat an eyelash when the Holocaust/9-11/Pearl Harbor is mentioned. It comes from seeing countless people openly laughing about it online.

I wrote wangsty poetry and drew really poorly. Also I was really young so I didn't understand trolling or sarcasm and talked like an aspie.
...I still do all those things, though I know when someone is trolling now.

I don't really go on /x/ much anymore since it really is /b/ with ghosts. I mean, I wasn't there for long but the last few times I've been it wasn't even funny anymore. I miss when /x/ was a wonderland of paranoia and slondermons to me.

I understand you. I love /x/ because as a community it's very refreshing, but after years of browsing you get tired of seeing the same things over and over again. Be it the /b/ raids or the same old creepypasta, same old topics, etc. I understand that as the 4chan userbase tends to fluctuate wildly, and usually "regulars" don't spend more than seven months/a year lurking the same board, once a year you see that the /x/philes get interested by a certain topic, discuss it for months, then move onto the next one (for example lucid dreaming, summoning, Yvette's, Tor, etc). As creepy as it was the first time it was discussed for me, stuff like that gets old because /x/philes tend to point out the same stuff, use the same resources, etc.
The only reason I lurk /x/ these days is to see if there's anything new (like a second coming of Vox, maybe?). Stuff like Alice's story, BEN and V's tales are what keeps me interested in /x/.

yeah, I keep checking up every once in a while to see if any new creepypasta shows up. Used to drawfag every once in a while but I don't draw fast and I'm way too animu for /x/, so unfortunately I don't contribute much anymore. I think people like you are refreshing to see there because you provide the OC it's been sorely lacking lately.

PS. I hope Vox comes back ;_;

I don't know if you have seen it, but Vox actually posted some months after she said she'd come back. Someone posted a thread asking about her, and she replied that Beau hadn't come back, and that she thought he was dead.

Dude, 4chan saved me too. Like...FOR REAL. FOR REALLY REAL. My Aussie bro told me about this neat little place called /y/ and I was hooked. From there, I found TF2chan, learned how to be A FUCKING HUMAN BEING WITH PROPER THOUGHTS GOD DAMN, and then just grew up.

Recently, I found an entry in a journal I wrote when I was 11-12, and it made me want to bleed through my eyes. Without 4chan, I might have turned into...I don't know. A girl.

YES. :brofist:
I admit I started as a /b/tard, but I got bored quickly, then moved onto /x/. At first I was scared shitless by everything.
